Just a quick note so you know there is a real person behind this site.
My name is Bob Hemken and I am a family man with a wife and two kids. My online handle is KLRrider because I like to ride my KLR 6oo motorcycle. I have been married to Laura for 32 years and my son Clint is 21 and my daughter is 19. I am pretty much an average person but the rest of the family insists I am strange. My wife accuses me of being “excessively happy”, my son pwns me in every computer game and my daughter… well you know… if you have a teenage daughter you are pretty much a dinosaur on the verge of extinction.
I have had several conventional business that did well for a period of time and then could not continue because of life changing circumstances. It always seems that success (being solvent) would always revert back to living from pay check to pay check. I got interested in Affiliate Marketing around three years ago. I was scammed or at least wasted my money on around half a dozen systems that promised things that didn’t fit with the actual results… another words didn’t deliver.
Two years ago I stumbled across Wealthy Affiliate University and knew I had found my “learn affiliate marketing” home. I dove in and began absorbing everything like a sponge from the desert. The problem was I took little action with my new found knowledge. About a year ago I decided to reapply myself and soon after the sales started coming in. Now I have a growing income and actually understand how to continue to “increase the volume” so to speak.
Here is the deal… If an average person like me can learn affiliate marketing then so could you. That is why I have this site, to help others like myself get started on the right foot.
